Eat Clean

Raw Homemade Energy Bars:

Energy bars are the perfect snack, but a lot of bars in the store contain
a lot of sugar and unnecessary ingredients. This recipe is perfect to make
over the weekend and store in your kitchen for the upcoming week! I wouldn't
recommend eating these everyday, but they are a perfect clean dessert idea.

1/3 Cup raw, chopped almonds
1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
1/3 cup flaxseed
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1 cup pitted dates
2 tbs. of peanut butter
1/4 cup of coconut oil
- a little carob or cinnamon, and some raw honey

Chop the dates as tiny and thin as you can and combine all the other bulk
ingredients. Melt the coconut oil and add it in to the dry ingredients, along
with the honey and peanut butter. Continue to mix ingredients into a paste,
and freeze in squares for an hour.

 Hot Yoga recovery drink:

  •   Fresh blueberries, raspberries, banana, avocado, spinach and coconut water
  •  Sprouted flax seed, sprouted hemp, and chia seeds
  • Acai, cacao and goji powder
  • Blend together, and enjoy

Leala Luna's Paleo French Fries

Tip #1: Vegetables are good for you. I absolutely LOVE raw veggies, but I've noticed that a lot of people have this thing, called "I don't eat vegetables and salad without thick and creamy
salad dressing." If that's you...or even if it isn't...trick yourself into eating something healthy
and good. If you don't want to do the raw salad like on the left and need a snack:

 My Go-to snack:
- Take 4 large carrots sticks
- Slice them up
- Sprinkle with olive oil (a healthy fat) and pepper
- Bake on aluminum at 350 degrees until crispy and....
- Result: athlete approved, paleo french fries. Yesss.
